The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting and one-year anniversary for HEROES Arcade and Laser Tag, 2718 Highway 35.
HEROES is locally owned and operated, by Dan Wallace. Wallace has been in the entertainment industry for 23 years and has operated several family entertainment centers in Maryland, Virginia and now Texas. Dan, his wife Kim, and three of their four children fell in love with the Coastal Bend and moved to Rockport one year before Hurricane Harvey in 2016.
Heroes was opened in 2021 to answer the question, “What is there to do for fun around here?” HEROES provides locals and visitors alike with a variety of high-end modern attractions. There is a video game arcade with a redemption prize wall where new items arrive weekly.
HEROES also has the areas only Tactical Laser Tag arena, where one can experience modern laser tag the way it was always meant to be played. Just a few weeks ago they opened Zombie Survival, a 30-minute escape room and as of May, there is a multi-player, free roam, virtual reality game called Hero Zone. Coming soon is Little Heroes, an indoor play space for kids 1-7 years old. HEROES offers party packages and is great for group events, family gatherings, company outings, or date night.
When one finds themself asking the question, “What is there to do for fun around here?” HEROES Arcade & Laser Tag is the answer. They are open seven days a week.
