Ribbon cutting

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Board & Brush, 1905 Highway 35 N.

Board & Brush Rockport is a locally owned and operated franchise owned by Sadie Landrum. Landrum and her husband Troy have been working with wood for years in various arenas. Together, they flipped several homes in their home state of Indiana. They also make and restore furniture for a local boutique and involved themselves in the art of creating wood decor for their own home. T. Landrum worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years and S. Landrum was a school counselor for 19 years in Indiana. They relocated to Rockport over a year ago, immediately feeling at home and in their new forever hometown. Both are extremely proud of living in Rockport and enjoy the small town atmosphere and especially the small businesses that make Rockport unique.

Board & Brush Rockport is a completely fresh idea for Rockport and surrounding areas. It boosts a Do-It-Yourself studio experience with friends and family. For three hours surround yourself with friends, family, music while talented instructors walk you through the process of creating your own wood decor. Decor can be chosen for indoors or outdoors and there are options for every room of the home, including the bathroom, and even closets. Board & Brush Rockport offers more than 500 options for you to choose from, including holiday and wedding decor. They provide the template, you provide the creativity through stain and color choices.

If one is hosting a special event and need a place to celebrate, they host bachelorette parties, birthday parties for all ages, wedding parties, anniversary parties, corporate events, and team building events. Board & Brush Rockport is currently accepting workshop registrations.
