The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate volleyball team set the tone early and shut out the Kingsville Lady Brahmas in three sets, 25-16, 25-19, and 25-13, Tuesday, Sept. 24 at home.

RFHS’ overall record moves to 19-12 and are 4-1 in district play.

The Lady Pirates sit tied for second place in District 31-4A standings with Robstown. Sinton sits in first with a 5-0 district record.

Lauren Moore led RFHS in kills with 10. Allie Manson followed with nine kills.

Mikayla Molina led RFHS in assists with 17. Molly Frost followed with 12 assists.

Molina also tallied six aces.

Manson and Jackie Simmonds led RFHS in blocks with four each.

Frost led RFHS in digs with six. Payton Martinez followed with five digs.

RFHS played Robstown Friday, Sept. 27. Their next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Orange Grove.
