The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Pirate and Lady Pirate powerlifting teams took home first place overall during a meet Saturday, Feb. 13 in Ingleside.

Last week, the Lady Pirates won their first meet ever in the history of the program. In Ingleside, RFHS swept its first meet in the history of the program, with both teams placing first overall.

Individual results for the Pirates are as follows:

At 114 lbs, Carson Bhakta placed first.

At 123 lbs, David Chittarath placed first.

At 148 lbs, John Chupe placed first. Chupe was also named the meet’s Most Outstanding Lifter in the lightweight division.

At 165 lbs, Cristian Kane placed second. Zander Wilson placed third.

At 181 lbs, Kalub Schmidt placed first.

At 198 lbs, Joey Cantu placed first. Ean McPherson placed second.

At 220 lbs, Payton McAlister placed second. Victor Pena placed third. David Hoyt placed fourth.

At 242 lbs, Colton Kalhoefer placed third.

At 275 lbs, Jonas Olivarez placed second.

At 308 lbs, Daniel Crespin placed first.

Individual results for the Lady Pirates are as follows:

At 105 lbs, Justice George placed second.

At 114 lbs, Gabby Rodriguez placed second.

At 123 lbs, Audrey Chupe placed first.

At 132 lbs, Stehle Snyder placed third.

At 148 lbs, Valeria Ramirez placed first. Ramirez was also named the meet’s Most Outstanding Lifter in the lightweight division.

At 181 lbs, Mikayla Esparza placed first.

At 198 lbs, Kate Hill placed first. Ciera Barrera placed second.

At 220 lbs, Cheyenne Martinez placed first. Martinez was also named the meet’s Most Outstanding Lifter in the heavyweight division.

RFHS’ next meet will be Saturday, Feb. 20 in Gregory-Portland.
