The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Pirate basketball team picked up a pair of wins to start the Christmas break off on a high note. The Pirates defeated Calallen 72-44 Friday, Dec. 18 and defeated Robstown 79-57 Monday, Dec. 21.

RFHS’ overall record improves to 4-6.

Against Calallen, Mathew Vasquez led the Pirates in scoring with 17 points.

Josh Lee followed with 15 points and Ace Seibert scored 12.

Against Robstown, Phillip Krupa led the Pirates in scoring with 15 points.

Seibert followed with 13 points. Joshua Hadley and J. Lee scored 12 points each.

RFHS will play its last non-district game of the season against King at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28.
