The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate basketball team hosted its Toast of the Coast basketball tournament last weekend, finishing 2-3.

The Lady Pirates are now 14-6 overall.

RFHS opened tournament play Thursday, Dec. 2 with a 59-39 loss to Veterans Memorial (VM).

Kaylee Howell led RFHS in scoring with 12 points. Jordan Malone followed with eight points.

Later the same day, RFHS defeated Victoria West 45-31.

Howell led RFHS in scoring with 18 points. Lilith Solis followed with seven points.

On Friday, Dec. 3, RFHS defeated Calallen 65-29.

Howell led RFHS in scoring with 24 points. Solis followed with 14.

RFHS then lost to Hays Consolidated 49-31.

Howell led RFHS in scoring with 15 points. Malone followed with eight points.

On Saturday, Dec. 4, RFHS exited the tournament after another loss to VM.

Howell led RFHS in scoring with 12 points. Malone followed with eight points.

After playing Alice Tuesday, Dec. 7, RFHS will play their last non-district game at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14 at Kingsville before opening district play.
