The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate soccer team rebounded Thursday, March 4 in a 9-1 win over Calhoun after losing 1-0 to Beeville Tuesday, March 2.

RFHS’ current district record stands at 5-1, with a 10-4 overall record.

The Lady Pirates lost grip of the district outright after their 1-0 loss to Beeville on Tuesday. Both teams are now tied for first place in District 28-4A.

On Thursday, six different Lady Pirates scored for RFHS in their 9-1 win over the Sandies.

KJ Whidden recorded a hat trick with three goals.

Kiley Kopp scored two goals.

Madison Duval, Lilith Solis, Riley Parker, and Ashley Wells scored once each.

RFHS’ next game is 11 a.m. Monday, March 8 against Palacios at home.
