The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate basketball team is riding into the district season on a six game winning streak after their most recent victories over Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) and Kingsville this past weekend.

RFHS defeated IWA 49-25 Friday, Dec. 11 at home. RFHS then defeated Kingsville 58-16 Saturday, Dec. 12 at home.

RFHS will finish the non-district season with a 9-4 overall record.

Against Kingsville, Jordan Malone led RFHS in scoring with 20 points, hitting three 3-point field goals.

Kaylee Howell and Lilith Solis followed up Malone with 14 points each.

RFHS opened district play Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Calhoun. Their next game is 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 at Miller.
