The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Pirate and Lady Pirate track teams competed in the Toast of the Coast (TOTC) meet Friday, March 11 at home.

Because of poor weather conditions, the meet was shortened and some events were not completed as planned.

The Pirates finished second overall with 70 points. Ingleside placed first with 118 points.

The Lady Pirates finished third overall with 68 points. Beeville placed first with 112 points and Calhoun placed second with 69 points.

Pirates finishing in the top three are as follows:

The RFHS 400-meter relay team finished third with a time of 45.11.

Kaden Kennedy finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.65.

The RFHS 800-meter relay team placed third with a time of 1:35.28.

The RFHS 1600-meter relay team placed first with a time of 3:45.52.

Payton McAlister placed second in discus with a throw of 147’2.5”.

Lady Pirates finishing in the top three are as follows:

The RFHS 400-meter relay team finished third with a time of 52.15.

Alyssa Garcia placed second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.03.

The RFHS 800-meter relay team placed third with a time of 1:57.36.

Schibi placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.80.

Cassidy placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.15.

Mikayla Molina placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.41.

The RFHS boys junior varsity team placed seventh overall.

The RFHS girls junior varsity team placed seventh overall.

RFHS’ next meet is Thursday, March 24 at Beeville.
