The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) varsity boys and girls track teams’ placed second in the Best of the Bay Panther Relays Friday, March 22 in Aransas Pass.

The RFHS boys’ team placed second with 136 points, trailing Veterans Memorial (VM) in first with 223.

The RFHS girls’ team placed second with 121 points, trailing VM with 154.

Pirates placing in the top three in their respective events are as follows:

Jacob Krupa placed first in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:21. He also placed second in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:40.84.

Carter McKee placed second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.85 seconds. He also placed first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 40.02 seconds. He also placed third in shot put with a throw of 136’5.5”.

The boys’ 800 meter relay team placed second with a time of 1:34.52

The boys’ 1600 meter relay team placed third with a time of 3:45.

Chevy Hull placed first in shot put with a throw of 47’11”. He also placed second in discus with a throw of 146’4.5”.

Cruz Estrada placed first in discus with a throw of 152’5.5”.

Jacob Brake placed first in pole vault with a clearance of 14’. He also placed third in high jump with a height of 5’8”.

Lady Pirates placing in the top three in their respective events are as follows:

Sophia Vaughn placed first in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:57.

Belle Eaton placed second in the 3200 meter run with a time of 13:36. She also placed third in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:03.66.

Kaylee Howell placed second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.81 seconds. She also placed second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.24. She also placed third in high jump with a clearance of 4’10”.

Hannah Saegert placed third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.06.

C. Ranuleu placed first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.15.

The girls’ 1600 meter relay team placed second with a time of 4:32.81

Renee McKenzie placed third in shot put with a throw of 33’9”.

Lauren Moore placed second in high jump with a clearance of 4’10”.

Mikey Dominguez placed second in pole vault with a clearance of 10’6”.

The RFHS junior varsity boys’ team placed second with 111 points and the junior varsity girls’ team placed third with 78 points.

The RFHS track teams’ next meet is at Aransas Pass Friday, March 22.

The RFHS track teams’ next meet is Thursday, March 28 at Robstown.
