The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate basketball team battled back for a win versus a state ranked Aransas Pass (AP) Lady Panthers team 49-44 Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Aransas Pass.

The Lady Pirates are now 12-3 overall.

Trailing 31-24 at the half, RFHS clamped down on defense and held AP to only 13 second-half points to RFHS’ 25 points.

AP is currently the #10 ranked team in 3A. RFHS is the #18 ranked team in 4A.

Kaylee Howell led RFHS in scoring with 16 points.

Lilith Solis followed with 14 points.

Jordan Malone scored 10 points, including two 3-point field goals.

RFHS hosted its’ home Toast of the Coast tournament Thursday, Dec. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 4. Their next game is 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at home versus Alice.
