The Rockport-Fulton High School Pirate and Lady Pirate golf teams recently competed in the Wildcat Invite Monday, Jan. 27 at the Riverhills County Club in Calallen.

The Pirates finished first place overall in the meet with a team score of 376. Josh Kuykendall placed first overall as an individual in the meet, shooting 76. Ashton King also placed second overall in the meet, shooting 80.

Other Pirates contributing to the first place team score were Gavin Henkaus shooting 106 and Taylor Hoover shooting 114. Trevor Guillen also shot 114.

The Lady Pirates placed second overall as a team with a score of 462. Anna Stone led all Lady Pirates, placing second overall individually with a score of 106. Rebecca Garcia placed third overall, shooting 109.

Other Lady Pirates contributing to the second place team score were Jovanni Heissenbuttle shooting 125 and Emily Weldy shooting 122.

RFHS will be back at Riverhills Country Club for its next meet Monday, Feb. 10.
