Kaylee Howell splits two Miller blockers for a big kill down the middle.

The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate volleyball team notched their eighth win in a row after defeating the Miller Lady Bucs Wednesday, Sept. 29 at home.

The Lady Pirates defeated Miller 25-10, 25-11, and 25-17. This game was to be played Tuesday, Sept. 28, but was delayed one day due to a shortage in referees.

RFHS improves their district record to 5-0 and overall record to 21-6.

In a game mostly dominated by the Lady Pirates, Miller showed some resistance early in sets with gritty defensive plays. However, Miller struggled to score points against RFHS’ stout frontcourt and fell behind later in sets.
