Everyone all-district!

Every member of the RFHS Lady Pirate softball team received All-District recognition. The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate softball team recently had all 18 of its players receive District 26-4A All-District honors following the 2021 season.

Senior pitcher Siarah Galvan was named the District 26-4A Most Valuable Player. Galvan has been RFHS’ ace and a big offensive presence from her first game as a Lady Pirate her freshman season. She will continue her playing career at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. She was also named Academic All-District and Academic All-State.

Senior shortstop Maddie Mann was named the District 26-4A Offensive Player of the Year. Since her freshman year, Mann has been an offensive staple for RFHS and a strong defensive player at third base and shortstop. She will continue her playing career at Harding University. She was also named Academic All-District and Academic All-State.

Senior catcher Mikey Dominguez was named the District 26-4A Defensive Player of the Year. Dominguez began making her presence known behind home plate from the start of her freshman season and finished as the top defensive player in 26-4A. She will continue her playing career at Vernon College. She was also named Academic All-District and Academic All-State.

Junior third baseman Kelsey Polasek, junior centerfielder Payton Martinez, junior second baseman Krystal Kutach, and freshman designated hitter Piper Shearer received First Team All-District honors. Kutach was named First Team All-District At-Large. Each of them also received Academic All-District nods.

Sophomore first baseman Kymberlyn Gerloff, sophomore right fielder Alana Garcia, and freshman left fielder Emma Groseclose received Second Team All-District honors. Each player also received Academic All-District nods.

Junior outfielder Jordan Garza and junior infielder Alyssa Rodriguez received Honorable Mention All-District honors. Garza was also named Academic All-District.

Senior outfielder Lydia Zavala received Academic All-District honors as well as Academic All-State recognition.

Junior pitcher Jordan Hall, junior outfielder Paige Torres, sophomore infielder Astasia Roe, sophomore infielder Carlee Kuykendall, and freshman pitcher Hannah Burney received Academic All-District honors.
