The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) Lady Pirate basketball team scored their highest single-game point total of the season in an 80-26 blowout of the Alice Lady Coyotes Tuesday, Dec. 7 at home.
The Lady Pirates are now 15-6 overall.
RFHS jumped out to a big lead early against the Lady Coyotes with a 20-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Alice scored only five points in the first half alone.
Kaylee Howell led RFHS in scoring with 33 points.
Jordan Malone followed with 24 points, hitting six 3-point field goals.
Messiah Hernandez scored six points.
RFHS will have a week of rest before their next contest. Their next game is 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14 at Kingsville. District play begins Friday, Dec. 17 versus Calhoun.
