The Rockport-Fulton High School varsity (RFHS) Pirate and Lady Pirate track teams competed in the Jack Adcock relays Thursday, March 25 in Cuero.

The Lady Pirates won the meet with a score of 150.5 points out of eight teams. Goliad was second with 135 points.

The Pirates placed third with a score of 95 points. Victoria West won the meet with a score of 120 and Cuero placed second with 110.

Varsity Lady Pirates placing in the top three in their respective events are as follows:

Mikey Dominguez placed first in pole vault with a height of 12’6”. She also placed third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.44.

Emma Groseclose placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 62.93.

Maddie Myers placed second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.

Savannah Cassidy placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:47.

Emilee Sturgeon placed first in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:51. She also placed second in the 3200 meter run with a time of 13:04.

Kaylee Howell placed second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.88. She also placed third in high jump with a height of 5’ and second place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.54.

The RFHS 800 meter relay team of Mikayla Molina, Juliana Villarreal, Makayla Guerrero, and Faith Ngo placed second with a time of 1:53.53.

Piper Shearer placed first in discus with a throw of 97’.

Cailey Ramaker placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 35’4.5”

Varsity Pirates placing in the top three in their respective events are as follows:

George Marable placed first in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 39.58. He also placed third in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.98.

The 1600 meter relay team of Marable, Ryan Wells, Chance Bates, and Gus Byrom placed second.

Kaden Harder placed third in the shot put with a throw of 42’1”.

Payton McAlister placed first in discus with a throw of 132’1.5”.

Josh Lee placed first in triple jump with a leap of 42’8”. He also placed third in high jump with a height of 5’9”.

Ben Groseclose placed third in triple jump with a leap of 40’10”.

LeRoy Burke placed second in pole vault with a height of 11’6”.
