The Humane Society & Adoption Center of Rockport-Fulton has scheduled a new date for its 5th annual Luncheon & Style Show. Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 25, the event will now be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at the Rockport Country Club.

This year’s affair will honor Kathy Roberts-Douglass as the 2020 Fashionista of the Year. It is an award defining Style, Flair & Zest for Life. All proceeds benefit the “House of Hope” Shelter.

Billed as “Fashion for our Passion”, patrons will be welcomed with a wine and champagne reception, followed by a seated luncheon. A silent auction will feature an array of trips and treasures, and is certain to prompt spirited bidding.

Stylist Monica Clark will coordinate fashions by Cabi, with Susie Bracht Black moderating ensembles modeled by Cheryl Bracht, Laura Denham, P.J. Harkins, Sherilyn Hunt, Maddie Legner, Keri Patterson and Crystal Schoen.

Underwriter tables for eight people are available for $1,000, and individual tickets are $75, with assigned seating.

Chaired by Leta Laymon, the committee includes Jaime Pridgeon and Cindy Brunelle-Uhr, event day coordinators; Kathy Noble, underwriting; Jo Smith, registration; Susie Bracht Black and Monica Clark, style show; Kathy Hoffman and Jude McBurney, decorating, with Carol Crozier, Karen Hassinger, MarySue Norris, Cherie Rice and Patty Rios; Kathy Brown, silent auction, with Betty Hattman and Janie Kittle; Aileen Gillespie, wine pull raffle, with Robin Hazard and Janie Kittle; Marita Groenhuyzen, invitation delivery, with Pam Frost, Penny Lee Henderson, Joyce Pace and Evelyn Smith; and Kathy Noble, president of the Humane Society.
