The Aransas/San Patricio County Master Gardeners will present a free brown bag gardening series from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20 at the Aransas County AgriLife Extension office, 892 Airport Road.

Dr. Michael Womack of the South Texas Botanic Garden will discuss invasive plants and what to do about them. Invasive plants spread rapidly with bad consequences for other plants and the environment. Learn what to do with “aliens” in your yard.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a “brown bag lunch” to eat during the program.

Social distancing will be observed, and it is recommended that unvaccinated participants wear masks. Overflow parking is available next door at the Transfer Station lot.
