The Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) academic team ran away as district champions following the District 31-4A Academics Spring meet Saturday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 2 in Sinton.
RFHS finished the meet in first place with 622 total points; defeating second place West Oso with 222 points. Orange Grove came in third with 212.
As a team, RFHS finished first place in accounting, calculator applications, current issues, computer science, journalism, literary criticism, mathematics, number sense, spelling and vocabulary, and science.
