The Aransas/San Patricio Master Gardeners are hosting a free brown bag educational titled “Trees: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.

Join this week’s brown bag for a look at the varieties of trees that behave well in the area and those that should be avoided to protect the local environment. Community Forester with Texas A&M Forest Service Bill Green will be the event’s guest speaker.

This program is open to the public and will be followed by a pop-up plant sale onsite in the Coastal Oaks Garden. No early sign-up is necessary.

Brown Bags are held monthly, the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except December).

Master Gardeners is a non-profit program of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Visit the Coastal Oaks Demonstration Garden at 892 Airport Rd.
