The Rotary Interact Club (RIC) had a busy December participating in numerous community activities.

Partnering with United Way, the RIC helped decorate four-foot wooden candy canes for the United Way’s Christmas display in the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas on the Beach drive-thru lights display.

The RIC also selected clothes and wrap presents for Operation Santa Claus, assuring eight children would receive new clothes for Christmas.

The RIC is an Afterschool Centers on Education sponsored activity for high school students to be involved in community service activities. RIC programs include leadership and environmental activities and are open to all high school students.

Meeting times and places are announced weekly through student announcements.
