Would one like to grow their own fresh vegetables but don’t have a space or don’t know how? Join the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Community Garden for a series of seven free classes on gardening, beginning Thursday, Sept. 3 from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Everyone attending the classes will receive the use of a vegetable garden plot to grow their own vegetables. Everything is provided, except the sweat. No experience is needed.

It’s a great opportunity for beginners or more experienced gardeners to increase knowledge and meet others interested in gardening. The program is sponsored by the Aransas County office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and is made possible in part by a grant from Growing and Nourishing Healthy Communities. Social distancing and masks wearing are required.

Contact the extension office at 790-0103 or Aransas-tx@tamu.edu now to sign up.
