Would one like to grow their own fresh vegetables but don’t have a space or the-know-how? Join a series of six free classes on gardening beginning Thursday, Aug. 26 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, 892 Airport Road.
Everyone in attendance will receive the use of a vegetable garden plot to grow their own vegetables. Everything is provided and no experience is needed. It’s a great opportunity for beginners or more experienced gardeners to increase knowledge and meet others interested in gardening. The program is sponsored by the Aransas County office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and is made possible in part by a grant from Growing and Nourishing Healthy Communities. Social distancing and masks wearing are encouraged.
Contact the extension office at 790-0103 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
