If you haven’t seen the Rockport Little Theatre’s production of Nunsense – a musical comedy … you have one more weekend.

I took a date (my wife!) to opening night Nov. 5, and quite frankly, was amazed at the polished performance. After all, it was opening night, and there are generally some mistakes here and there. I don’t recall seeing any.

It always amazes me how much talent we have in our community. And, with all the tension in the air, not only in Aransas County, but in our country and the entire world, taking a break from all the absurdity for a little laugh is refreshing.

The cast of six talented ladies, including Kathryn Buckley Stephenson (Reverend Mother), Joy Arrington (Sister Mary Hubert), Jennifer Saski (Sister Robert Anne), Geneva Aubry (Sister Amnesia), Lily Riggs (Sister Mary Leo), and Kathy Rinche Hunt (Sister Mary Phillip), will keep you laughing throughout the two acts, which include 19 musical numbers.

The final three performances are this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday matinee begins at 3 p.m.

Purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged at RockportLittleTheatre.com.

Doors open 30 minutes before Curtain.

I encourage you to walk through that door.

You can thank me later.

Until next week, have a good week!
