Dear editor:

I live on Fulton Beach Road (FBR) and addressed concerns to the two government entities responsible for the care and safety of North FBR. On Aug. 2 Commissioner (Wendy) Laubach read my comments into the record at the County meeting. I was able to attend the Town of Fulton meeting that evening and spoke. (Fulton Police) Chief (Rick) McLester approached me after the meeting to better understand my concerns, as did Mayor (Kelli) Cole.

Thank you Mayor Cole for listening and taking action. In less than two weeks, speed limit signs have been placed on the stretch Fulton maintains. Thanks also to Mike Probst for featuring my concerns in the paper. The next step is to enforce the speed limit!

I have a question for the County - when will you act?

Am I missing something, or is the Pilot’s editor completely ignoring the fact that our County Attorney’s office has filed suit against Aransas Pass for annexation abuse?
