Jesse James was the first born to Jesse and Nancie Balderas, on July 7, 1993 born in Laredo, Texas. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and was baptized on October 29, 2008. He went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 27, 2020 where he was met with open arms by his grandparents, Shirlie Howard, Felix Bermea, Javier Trevino and met for the first time his grandpa Clarence Wettstein. Tia Lala Bermea was there with a big hug.
He spent most of his life in Rockport and was a 2011 graduate of Rockport-Fulton High School and along with his classmates became the last class to pull a Senior prank, that we laugh about now. After two semesters of college he realized it wasn’t for him and he knew he wanted to be an electrician.
He spent the last five years with Double R Electric which he enjoyed and loved his work family very much. We are very grateful to Rodney Rios for all that he did to help Jesse become an Electrical Apprentice.
He loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially the peacefulness of the beach. He loved music and going to concerts especially Red Rocks in Colorado where he saw his favorite band Widespread Panic. He also loved Tedschi-Trucksband, Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers.
His parents Jesse and Nancie Balderas, his brother Jeffrey Balderas, his grandmother Tillie Bermea and his fiancee’ Carrie Kurt and the Kurt family of Rotherham, England will continue to celebrate his life of happiness and joy, along with his uncles, aunts and cousins, they were more like brothers and sisters.
We would like to thank everyone for the prayers and the outpouring of love and sharing your special memories of Jesse with us.
A celebration of the life of Jesse James Balderas will be at a later date and we will invite everyone to celebrate with us.
