An “Ideas and Thoughts” meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 19 at the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce in regard to the upcoming 2nd anniversary of Hurricane Harvey.

“We would like all interested individuals to attend this meeting,” said Chamber President/CEO Diane Probst. “Since the anniversary falls on a Sunday, we specifically want churches represented.

“If one knows of someone who might be interested in helping, please bring them, as well.”

Probst also noted although some people may not want to be reminded about the day Harvey hit here, several organizations are already planning activities, events, and reflections for that day.
