Great job

Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS) senior power lifter Valeria Ramirez, middle, received a custom made ring for her success last season as the school’s first ever state champion power lifter. She was recognized alongside Aransas County Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Joshua Garcia, left, and RFHS Head Girls Powerlifting Coach Amanda Robbins during halftime of the Pirates game against Sinton Friday, Oct. 1. Ramirez’ ring was funded and paid for by the Rockport-Fulton Pirate Club and other ACISD staff to recognize her outstanding achievement in powerlifting. The ring is valued around $350.
