The Aransas County 4-H Ambassadors presented its Friend of 4-H Award to the City of Rockport during the Rockport City Council’s regular meeting Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The Ambassadors are the representatives of the Aransas County 4-H program. They are leaders in their 4-H club, and community, and strive to make the best better. They are the youth guiding compass determining the direction of the Aransas County 4-H program.

The Friend of 4-H Award was nominated and voted on by the Ambassadors. They chose the City of Rockport for 2020 due to the city’s strong support and dedication to the Aransas County 4-H, and the continued partnership.

Senior Ambassadors are Kaitlyn Carruth, Gillian Hale, and Kayla Ramos. Junior Ambassadors are Laigen Hillis, Elizabeth Janak, Madison Peterek, and Faith Purtell.
