An Aransas County grand jury was convened recently, and issued 31 indictments against as many individuals.

Those individuals, listed by name, charge, and date of offense, are as follows (bond information is available through the district clerk’s office):

Xzavier Nino – Burglary of habitation, second degree felony; on or about June 28, 2019 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation, without the consent of the owner, and attempted to commit or committed theft of property, namely televisions.

Cheyenne De Los Santos – Burglary of habitation, second degree felony; on or about June 28, 2019 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation, without the consent of the owner, and attempted to commit or committed theft of property, namely televisions.

Remigio Espinoza II – Burglary of habitation, second degree felony; on or about June 28, 2019 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation, without the consent of the owner, and attempted to commit or committed theft of property, namely televisions.

Brandon King – Count 1, Robbery, second degree felony. Count 2, Injury to elderly, third degree felony. Count 3, Assault family violence impeding breath, third degree felony. Count 4, Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, state jail felony. Count 1, on or about August 10, 2019, while in the course of committing theft of property, intentionally and knowingly threatened or placed complainant in fear of imminent bodily injury or death. Count 2, on or about August 10, 2019, intentionally and knowingly caused bodily injury to complainant, an individual 65 years of age or older, by pushing complainant. Count 3, on or about August 10, 2019, intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a member of the defendant’s family, by intentionally, knowingly and recklessly impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck of the complainant. Count 4, on or about August 10, 2019, intentionally and knowingly operated an automobile without the effective consent the owner.

Darius Tucker – Aggravated assault with deadly weapon, second degree felony; on or about March 29, 2019 intentionally or knowingly threatened complainant with imminent bodily injury by holding a knife to complainant’s throat, and did then and there use or exhibit a deadly weapon, namely a knife, during the commission of the assault.

Steven Landrum – Assault family violence with previous conviction, third degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about July 3, 2020, intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a person with whom the defendant had or had had a dating relationship, by striking complainant with defendant’s hands. Previously convicted Nov. 20, 2019 of offense against a member of the defendant’s family, member of the defendant’s household, or person with whom the defendant has or has had a dating relationship. Enhancement, convicted March 24, 2008 of the felony offense of financial transaction device – illegal use/sale, second offense.

Adam McLemore – Assault family violence impeding breath, third degree felony. On or about Dec. 11, 2020, intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a person with whom the defendant had or had had a dating relationship, by intentionally, knowingly and recklessly impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck of the complainant.

Trenton Drey Garcia – Count 1, Aggravated assault with deadly weapon, second degree felony. Count 2, Assault bi fam/house 2+ within 12 months, third degree felony. Count 3, Assault fam/house impeding breath, third degree felony. Count 1, on or about March 13, 2019, intentionally and knowingly threatened complainant with imminent bodily injury by holding a knife to her face, and exhibited a deadly weapon, namely knife, during the commission of the assault. Count 2, on or about March 13, 2019, intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a member of the defendant’s family or member of the defendant’s household, by striking complainant with defendant’s hand, and on or about Nov. 9, 2019 defendant intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a member of the defendant’s family or member of the defendant’s household, by throwing an object at complainant or placing her in an arm bar, and the conduct by the defendant occurred during a period that was 12 months or less in duration. Count 3, on or about Nov. 9, 2019, defendant intentionally, knowingly and recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant, a member of the defendant’s family or member of the defendant’s household, by intentionally, knowingly and recklessly impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck of the complainant.

Kimberly Salas – Delivery of controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, >=1g<4g, second degree felony; on or about Sept. 7, 2020 intentionally or knowingly possessed, with intent to deliver, a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in an amount one gram or more but less than four grams.

Daniel Trevino Hernandez – Delivery of controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, >=1g<4g, second degree felony; on or about Sept. 7, 2020 intentionally or knowingly possessed, with intent to deliver, a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in an amount one gram or more but less than four grams.

Adam McLemore – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about Dec. 17, 2019 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. Convicted Jan. 20, 2004 of an offense relating to the operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Convicted April 4, 2008 of an offense relating to the operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Kirk John Northup – Count 1, Forgery financial instrument, state jail felony. Count 2, Forgery financial instrument, state jail felony, habitual felony offender. Count 1, on or about Dec. 27, 2019, with intent to defraud or harm another, altered a writing so it purported to be the act of complainant, who did not authorize the act, and the writing was a check. Count 2, on or about Jan. 31, 2020, with intent to defraud or harm another, altered a writing so it purported to be the act of complainant, who did not authorize the act, and the writing was a check. Enhancement, convicted July 1, 2004 of the felony offense of burglary of habitation, convicted Sept. 6, 2007 of the felony offense of robbery.

Marcel Poirrier – Escape while arrested/confined felony, third degree felony; on or about Nov. 19, 2020 intentionally and knowingly escaped from the custody of an Aransas County Sheriff’s deputy when the defendant was under arrest for the offense of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony.

Alondra Zavala - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4g, third degree felony; on or about March 7, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely heroin, one gram or more, but less than four grams.

Michelle Barker – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000, from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Clifford Yell – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Taylor Scholten – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Caleb Riley – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Ron Rice – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Sarah Pantalion – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Shannon McGurk – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Jason McAlister – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Freddie Korzewka – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprive owner of property.

Chris Ince – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Justin Bludworth – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Mike Brown – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of himself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprived owner of property.

Regina Diaz – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprived owner of property.

Dale Weeks – Count 1, Engaging in organized criminal activity, second degree felony. Count 2, Theft of property >=$30K<$150K, third degree felony, repeat felony offender. Count 1, acting as a member of a combination consisting of herself and two or more (other people), on or about Dec. 6, 2019, with intent to establish, maintain or participate in said combination or in the profits of said combination, committed the offense of theft of property >=$30K<$150K against the complainant. Count 2, on or about Dec. 6, 2019, as a principal or a party, unlawfully appropriated, namely a trailer and welders, value $30,000 or more but less than $150,000 from the owner with intent to deprived owner of property. Enhancement, convicted Dec. 20, 2010 of felony burglary of habitation, felony escape, and felony burglary of habitation.

Kevin Jones – Count 1, Continuous sexual abuse of a child: victim under 14, first degree felony (special punishment). Count 2-5, Aggravated sexual assault of a child, first degree felony. Count 1, during a period that was 30 or more days in duration, namely from on or about Oct. 13, 2014 through June 30, 2018, when the defendant was 17 years of age or older, committed two or more acts of sexual abuse against a child younger than 14 years of age, said acts having been violations of one or more of the following penal laws, namely: Indecency with a child - with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of the defendant, engaged in sexual contact with complainant by touching the anus of complainant, a child younger than 17, with the defendant’s hand or fingers; engaged in sexual contact with complainant by touching the sexual organ of complainant, a child younger than 17, with the defendant’s hand or fingers; Aggravated sexual assault of a child – intentionally and knowingly caused the penetration of the sexual organ of the complainant, a child who was then and there younger than 14 years of age, by defendant’s finger; intentionally and knowingly caused the penetration of the anus of the complainant, a child who was then and there younger than 14 years of age, by defendant’s finger. Andrew Closser – Aggravated sexual assault of a child, first degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about June 16, 2019 intentionally or knowingly caused the penetration of the sexual organ of a child who was then and there younger than 14 years of age, by the defendant’s finger or hand. Enhancement, convicted July 6, 2016 of the felony offense of resisting, convicted July 6, 2016 of felony offense of assault.
