The Aransas County Appraisal District (ACAD) is currently continuing operations, but has suspended face-to-face services. The ACAD has closed its doors to the public until further notice as part of the effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the area.

“The ACAD will continue operations, and as always, we are committed to being responsive to the community,” said Chief Appraiser Mike Soto. “However, we believe it is in the best interest of the public and employees to temporarily suspend direct face-to-face contact with the public while continuing to provide services through other options, such as by telephone and online.”

Forms, applications, maps, and other useful property information are available at  A drop box is also available in the drive-through area at the east side of the ACAD building (11 Business 35 N.)

Property owners may place exemption applications, renditions, and other paperwork in the drop box for processing. As of now, all due date deadlines are still in effect.
