The University Interscholastic League suspended all sanctioned contests, rehearsals, and practices through Sunday, March 29 in an effort to control the outbreak of COVID-19 on Monday, March 16.


All Rockport-Fulton Middle School athletics have been suspended through Sunday, March 29.

At Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS), both boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer teams will not play their first round playoff games scheduled between Thursday, March 26 and Saturday, March 28. The district certification deadline for those games has been moved to Saturday, April 11.

As it currently stands, RFHS baseball and softball teams cannot continue their district seasons until Sunday, March 29. District certifications for both sports are currently unchanged.

The RFHS golf season’s district certification deadline has been moved to Tuesday, April 14.

The RFHS track team district certification deadline has not changed, however the district and area meets could be combined.

The RFHS tennis seasons’ district certification deadline has been moved to Wednesday, April 18, 2020.

The girls state powerlifting meet has also been delayed. It was scheduled to occur Friday, March 20 in Waco.


The RFHS Robotics teams’ state meet has been postponed with no new information. It was scheduled Thursday, April 2 through Saturday, April 4.


The state solo and ensemble contest remains unchanged and is scheduled for Saturday, May 30 and Monday, June 1 at Pflugerville Independent School District. Registration for the event may be delayed.
