RETREET is a nonprofit organization that redefines disaster relief by engaging communities to replant lost trees. To date, RETREET has planted 5,335 native and noninvasive trees, at no cost, for families rebuilding their neighborhoods in the wake of disasters across North America.

One can learn about its unique mission at www.retreet.org or on Facebook (facebook.com/retreet).

(Note: Eligible property owners can still request trees, but they may have to wait four to 10 months, the next time RETREET is in town. Only the owner of an impacted property may ask for trees. Requests must be submitted online through RETREET’s website www.retreet.org/aransascounty.)
