Come to the Gospel Music Festival!

The McNeills (Emory, TX) are one of the many gospel groups that will be performing at this year’s Rockport Gospel Music Festival. The Festival begins at 6 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church.

The Rockport Gospel Music Festival returns this year to First Baptist Church (1515 N. Live Oak St.) after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The only other time it was canceled in its 20-plus-year run is in 2018 after Hurricane Harvey.

Admission is free. Love offerings will be available to help cover the cost of the travel, operations, etc.

The two-day Festival begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7. Doors open at 5 p.m. The final performance for the day will end at 9:45 p.m.

The second day of the Festival begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. Doors open at 10 a.m. The final performance for the day will end at 9:30 p.m.
