The contractor for the new Key Allegro Bridge originally planned to start setting the beams crossing Blevin’s Channel early Friday morning, but the crane could not clear some the cofferdams, according to Rockport City Manager Kevin Carruth. He said that work will be rescheduled for a date around Nov. 11. “It will not affect the construction timeline,” said Carruth.
