The Aransas County Courthouse had a possible COVID-19 exposure Dec. 15 during regular business hours, and was closed to the public to further protect county employees. The courthouse was expected to reopen to the public Monday, Jan. 4, but Aransas County Judge C.H. “Burt” Mills, Jr. decided it will remain closed one more week. The courthouse will reopen to the public Monday, January 11, 2021. One can make an appointment by calling the appropriate county department. A representative will meet the caller at the front door, or one can utilize the drop box located outside, which can be used for payments, paperwork, etc.
