An Aransas County grand jury convened recently, and issued 19 indictments against as many individuals.

Those individuals, listed by name, charge, date of offense, and bond set, are as follows:

William Dean Oestrick – Count one, possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony. Count two, evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle, state jail felony. Count one, on or about Dec. 3, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Count two, intentionally fled using a motor vehicle a person the defendant knew was a peace officer who was attempting to lawfully detain defendant; $10,000 surety.

William Wayne Parker - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Aug. 11, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram; $5,000 surety.

Regina Lynn Burtchell - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than four grams but more than one gram, third degree felony; on or about Aug. 11, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than four grams but more than one gram; $5,000 surety.

Ryan Robert Sessions - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Oct. 9, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram; $5,000 surety.

Shane Dwayne Pool - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Nov. 9, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely heroin, less than one gram; $3,000 surety.

William Aaron Rivera - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony, habitual state jail offender; on or about Oct. 22, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Enhancement, on April 6, 2006 convicted of state jail felony offense of possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, and on April 22, 2008 was convicted of possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram; $3,000 personal recognizance.

Terri Lynn Gonzales - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony, habitual state jail offender; on or about Sept. 3, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Enhancement, on June 7, 2012 convicted of state jail felony offense of possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, and on Jan. 3, 2017 was convicted of possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram; $2,000 surety.

Michael Dwain Smith – Count one, possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, more than one gram, but less than four grams, third degree felony. Count two, possession of prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony, habitual felony offender. Count one, on or about Feb. 2, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, more than one gram, but less than four grams. Count two, on or about Feb. 2, 2018 intentionally and knowingly took a prohibited substance, namely methamphetamine, into the Aransas County Detention Center. Enhancement, on Jan. 18, 2001 convicted of felony offense of burglary of a habitation, and on Sept. 12, 2005 was convicted of felony offense of burglary of a habitation; $10,000 surety.

Amber Lorraine Clark – Count one, possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony. Count two, tampering with evidence, third degree felony. Count one, on or about Oct. 2, 2017 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Count two, on or about Oct. 2, 2017 knowing an investigation was in progress concealed methamphetamine with intent to impair its availability as evidence. Enhancement, on Oct. 23, 2014 convicted of felony offense of possession of controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, four grams to 200 grams; $5,000 personal recognizance.

Linda Guadalupe Uribe - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about April 27, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram; $3,000 surety.

Floyd Hawkins - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than four grams, but more than one gram, third degree felony; on or about April 27, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than four grams, but more than one gram; $3,000 surety.

Terry Jo Hines - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Oct. 4, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely cocaine, less than one gram; $5,000 surety.

Justin Ray Rodriguez - Possession of prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about Nov. 11, 2018 intentionally or knowingly took a prohibited substance, namely cocaine, into the Aransas County Detention Center. Enhancement, on March 3, 2016 convicted of felony offense of evading arrest in a motor vehicle; $5,000 surety.

James Dillion Taylor – Aggravated assault impede breath, third degree felony; on or about March 13, 2019 intentionally, knowingly, and/or recklessly caused bodily injury to complainant who which the defendant had a dating relationship, by striking complainant with defendant’s hands by kneeling on the complainant’s chest or face, or by grabbing complainant with defendant’s hands the defendant did impede the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck of complainant; $25,000 surety.

Christine Ann Larimore – Injury to elderly, third degree felony; on or about July 22, 2018 intentionally or knowingly caused bodily injury to complainant, an individual of 65 years of age or older, by striking complainant with a telephone; $5,000 personal recognizance.

Austin Cody Sansom – Burglary of a habitation with intent to commit theft, second degree felony; on or about Jan. 24, 2019 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation without the effective consent of the owner and attempted to commit or committed the offense of theft; $10,000 surety.

Richard Leslie LaBlanc – Burglary of a habitation with intent to a felony, second degree felony; on or about Sept. 18, 2018 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation without the effective consent of the owner and attempted to commit or committed the offense of theft; $10,000 surety.

Florentino Esquivel Jr. – Burglary of a habitation with intent to a felony, second degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about Sept. 18, 2018 intentionally or knowingly entered a habitation without the effective consent of the owner and attempted to commit or committed the offense of theft. Enhancement, on Dec. 1, 2003 convicted of aggravated assault against a public servant; $5,000 personal recognizance.

John Christopher Solis – Forgery of a financial instrument, second degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about March 20, 2018 with intent to defraud or harm another, executed a writing so it purported to be the act of an auto dealership, who did not authorize the act, and the writing was a check in the amount of $2,380. Enhancement, on Aug. 16, 2012, convicted of felony offense of tampering with physical evidence; $5,000 personal recognizance.
