Aransas County has decided to move forward with the Shell Ridge Road shoreline resiliency project, which is funded by a FEMA Hazard Mitigation grant.

A public outreach meeting was held on Sept. 18 and was well attended.

The county received positive feedback from the residents of Shell Ridge, and will be submitting to FEMA Phase 2 deliverables before the Nov. 15 deadline.

Work on the project should start the first half of 2021.
