The Coastal Bend Community Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 grant to the Children’s Coalition of Aransas County (CCAC). The CCAC is a 501(c)3 local public charity that envisions a community in which every child has a safe, healthy and happy childhood.
The grant will provide much-needed support for the organization as it creates, supports, educates, and improves resources for children and families in Aransas County and surrounding areas.
“Our vision is that our community will be a place where every child will have a safe, healthy and happy childhood,” said CCAC Executive Director Dianne Miller Nielsen, M.S. Ed.
The CCAC is currently addressing the child care needs in the community and it looks forward to creating a new, high-quality early care and learning center in Rockport in 2022.
“We are so very grateful to the Coastal Bend Community Foundation for this generous grant,” said Nielsen. “This funding will enable us to do so much for children and families in our community.”
