The University Interscholastic League (UIL) made a decision Thursday, March 19 to further extend its suspension of all activity due the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). All UIL sanctioned activity has now been suspended until at least Monday, May 4.

If the situation with COVID-19 begins to progress positively as May 4 nears, the UIL will allow its member schools a reasonable acclimatization period to begin rehearsals and practices. However, the UIL stated the situation is fluid and subject to any change barring the advice of local, state and federal officials.
