The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for the Pearl Point apartment complex, 2400 FM 2165.
Uhr Real Estate and Frew Development Group announced the opening of Pearl Point in Rockport. The community is a key part of the city’s master retail and commercial spaces. Pearl Point is designed for residents seeking coastal living.
“Rockport is the gold standard for outdoor recreation, boating and fishing,” said Mark Uhr, Owner/Broker Rockport Properties, Inc. and Uhr Real Estate, Inc. “Pearl Point provides a coastal vibe for residents seeking a home near the ocean. We are excited to open this community. Pearl Point would not exist without the support from local elected leaders and staff.”
The garden-style community is managed by Greystar and features 216 apartment homes with one, two and three bedroom floor plans. They feature fully equipped gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and soft-close cabinets. Other features include wood-style flooring, recessed and pendant lighting, spa-inspired soaking tubs, double vanities, full-size washers and dryers, walk-in closets and private patios and balconies.
Community highlights include a clubhouse, community room, fitness facility, business center, resort-style swimming pool, a pet park, green space, and a slate of monthly resident events. Pearl Point is designed to withstand hurricane force winds up to 150 mph. The community is part of Rockport’s recovery from Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and is an important project to civic leaders who worked to help get the project off the ground.
“The Chapter 380 and 381 Agreements in place with the City of Rockport and Aransas County, respectively, are a material part of our capital structure,” said Uhr. “In addition, Pearl Point qualified for Property Assessed Clean Energy financing thanks to support from the city, county and the State of Texas PACE Authority. And we are thankful for the consistent support from community leaders who have helped to convert Pearl Point from an idea to reality.”
In addition to working with the city, Uhr and Frew work with Kelly Grossman Architects to bring the community to life.
