Children’s Coalition of Aransas County (CCAC) is excited to announce the launch of a new partnership with Connections Counseling that will provide an educational program that focuses on building character in youth.

Counselors will engage children in a fun, active manner while delivering valuable, lasting messages that aid in developing emotional intelligence. Youth will be introduced to topics such as anger management, problem solving, confidence building, goal setting, conflict resolution, honesty and kindness, and stress and anxiety management.

Classes are offered free of charge to all Aransas County youth from 2nd grade through 12th grade.

Six weekly grade-appropriate sessions will be held at the Children’s Coalition of Aransas County office (401 W. Market St., Rockport) on Mondays. The sessions began Sept. 28.

Classes will meet as follows:

• 2-3 grade - 5:30 p.m.

• 4-5 grade - 6 p.m.

• 6-8 grade - 6:30 p.m.

• 9-12 grade - 7 p.m.
