An Aransas County grand jury convened recently, and issued 16 indictments against as many individuals.

Those individuals, listed by name, charge, date of offense, and bond set, are as follows:

Ronald Otho Griffin - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony, habitual state jail felony offender; on or about March 16, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Enhancement, on August 20, 2009 convicted of sate jail felony offense of graffiti, church, school, etc., and on May 13, 2013 convicted of felony offense of theft, $1,500 to $20,000; $2,500 surety.

Rodrigo Esparza Jr. - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Jan. 4, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely cocaine, less than one gram; $5,000 surety.

David James Gillespey - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, one gram or more but less than four grams, third degree felony; on or about Jan. 10, 2019 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, one gram or more but less than four grams; $25,000 surety, plus capias.

Christopher Eugene Godsey - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, more than four grams but less than 200 grams, second degree felony; on or about Aug. 17, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, more than four grams but less than 200 grams; $5,000 personal recognizance.

Randi Lynn Brown - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony; on or about Sept. 29, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram; $5,000 surety.

Thomas Allen Dominguez - Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, one gram or more but less than four grams, third degree felony; on or about Nov. 11, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, one gram or more but less than four grams; $10,000 surety.

Cira Marena Blackburn – Count one, Possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony. Count two, possession of prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony. Count one, on or about March 3, 2018 intentionally or knowingly possessed a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1, namely methamphetamine, less than one gram. Count two, on or abut March 3, 2018 intentionally and knowingly took a prohibited substance, namely methamphetamine, into the Aransas County Detention Center; $8,000 surety.

Gidget Gaynell Golka – Possession of prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony; on or about May 18, 2018 intentionally or knowingly took a prohibited substance, namely marijuana, into the Aransas County Detention Center; $5,000 personal recognizance.

Sally Ann Youngs – Possession of prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about May 10, 2018 intentionally or knowingly took a prohibited substance, namely methamphetamine, into the Aransas County Detention Center. Enhancement, on March 5, 2012 convicted of the felony offense of burglary of a habitation; $5,000 surety.

Kelly Thomas Kleinmann – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony, repeat felony offender; on or about Sept. 1, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On Nov. 8, 2000 and Dec. 4, 2007 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Enhancement, convicted Feb. 18, 2014 of felony offense of driving while intoxicated 3rd or more; $5,000 personal recognizance, plus interlock.

Jimmy Lee Lopez – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about March 3, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On Jan. 26, 2010 and Feb. 23, 2016 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated; $10,000, plus interlock.

Timothy Alexander Wood – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about Feb. 4, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On July 17, 1996 and Sept. 12, 1994 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated; $20,000, plus interlock.

Charles William Reed – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about Sept. 9, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On Oct. 21, 2008 and March 20, 2010 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated; $5,000, plus interlock.

Gregorio Arana Vargas – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about Aug. 3, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On April 25, 2005 and May 18, 2017 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated; $5,000, plus interlock.

Jose Luis Valero – Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more, third degree felony; on or about March 24, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated. On July 29, 1985 and April 21, 1987 convicted of an offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated; $5,000, plus interlock.

Edward Matthew Bueno – Driving while intoxicated with child passenger, state jail felony; on or about April 11, 2018 operated a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated and the vehicle was occupied by a passenger who was younger than 15 years of age; $3,000, plus interlock.
