Ribbon cutting

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Sears Hometown Store, 2208 Highway 35 N.

Sears Hometown Store is a locally owned and operated appliance store. Find deals on refrigerators and freezers, cooking appliances, washers, dryers, dishwashers, tools, hardware, and lawn mowers. Sears offers many brand name appliances like Kenmore, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool and GE. Shop 900 Sears Hometown Stores located in smaller communities across the country, serving many areas.

If there is any one thing Sears wants to celebrate, it’s not so much the “New Ownership”. They are celebrating the local consumer, the community, for supporting the Sears Brand, product, and the Sears name. It is because of local customer and community, the locally owned hometown stores continue to exist.

“If there is any one thing the pandemic has taught us, is things must move forward, not everything stays the same. In order to progress, we must be willing to change and adjust. As we move forward, we appreciate all support, from all our customers throughout the whole coastal bend and look forward to offering the products and the services, that so many customers have enjoyed for decades,” said owner Rick James.
