Ribbon cutting

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for The Beauty Bar, located at 701 Highway 35 N.

“We’re happy to introduce The Beauty Bar to the community and with that provide a sanctuary of pampering where all feel welcome” said owner, Shaunna Rios.

S. Rios has a passion for taking care of others and making them feel important. That, coupled with her love of, “all things beauty”, inspired The Beauty Bar. She is a licensed esthetician and has been certified in PCA Skin since 2013. In addition, she and her husband own Double R Electric, Inc. and have three sons.

The Beauty Bar is located in the old Bay Window Home building or as some may remember, The Duck Inn.

Stylists consist of five cosmetologists, Brittney Johnson, Katelyn Heim, Brianna King, Valerie Gonzales and Shawndee Nesloney; one nail technician, Eva Cantu; and two estheticians, Mikaela Rios and Samantha Logan.

All stylists stay ahead of the trends with continuing education, which allows in providing a full array of services. Services include custom hair coloring, extensions, conditioning treatments and Brazilian Blowouts, facials, waxing, lashes, manicures, and pedicures.

In staying with keeping current, one can book an appointment online by clicking a link on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Their retail selection also supports all of the services they provide. One can purchase Living Proof, Kevin Murphy or Brazilian Blowout hair products, tend to your newly waxed skin with Fur line, enhance your lashes and brows with Revitalash and pamper your face and body with PCA Skin care.
