Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Board Members, Bay Blazers, and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Anthony’s by the Sea Bed and Breakfast.
The business is proud to be fully open for the first time since Hurricane Harvey. With nearly $100,000 in damages, it took more than a year for the business to recover. While it had immediately opened back up after Harvey to assist a resident, the grounds still needed much work.
Losing one of their ancient oak trees in the front yard took a toll on the landscaping. Thankfully, the tree did not damage the roof. All damages were outside and included fences, roof, pool, storage shed, and the debris removal.
The business acknowledges it would not have been possible without the help of the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. With the help of the chamber, and numerous volunteers, the business is better and stronger than ever.
