The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Lost Buoys RV Resort, located at 1543 FM 1871.
Prior to the opening of Lost Buoys RV Resort, owners Michelle Moon and Taylor Luensmann spent years vacationing in Rockport and hoped one day to retire and move to Rockport. Taylor grew up fishing in the Coastal Bend and dreamed of building his own RV Park. In 2018, they found the perfect property and moved to Rockport. This year, Michelle decided to retire from teaching after 29 years to pursue the dream of owning her own business. Mother and son are creating a small, spacious RV Resort that is welcoming to all. Guests can experience the small town feel and hospitality that is Rockport.
Lost Buoys RV Resort is built with comfort in mind. They are a small, spacious and quiet family owned business. They have several oversized spaces. Guests can spread out and relax with unobstructed sunset views over the pond. Some spaces have direct access to the brand new private baths and laundry with handmade finishes. If one needs a deck, table or pergola, they have it covered by customizing your space. Their RV Spots fit in both Class A and fifth wheels, along with ample parking for a car/boat. They are family friendly, dog friendly, and wheelchair accessible. More exciting amenities will be offered in the near future.
Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.; and Sunday, closed, but can call for an appointment.
