Ribbon cutting

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Bay Blazers hosted a ribbon cutting Tuesday, Nov. 27 for GrantWorks’ office in Rockport. It is located in Live Oak Shopping Center on Business Highway 35 N. It is one of two locations where Homeowner Assistance Program applications are available for residents in the Coastal Bend Region who cannot access the online application themselves. The Homeowner Assistance Program is now available in all eligible Hurricane Harvey affected counties. The Texas General Land Office allocated $1.098 billion in Community Development Block Grants for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for rehabilitation and reconstruction of thousands of owner-occupied single-family homes damaged by Hurricane Harvey. Drop by GrantWorks’ office or visit http://recovery.texas.gov/individuals/programs/homeowner-assistance/coastal-bend/index.html to apply.
