The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) recognized Goin’ Coastal Outfitters as its April Business of the Month Thursday, April 1.
This multi-generation owned and operated business thrives because locals Sharon Miller and her daughters, Hannah Miller and Abigail Bagley, who began their storefront business in 2017, prioritize community. The girls enjoy planning events, from starting a monthly Farmers Market to organizing bi-annual sidewalk sales with their business neighbors. Before launching their brick-and-mortar business, the Goin’ Coastal team hosted pop-up shops at fan favorites like Oysterfest and Seafair, which afforded steady business growth and lead to the eventual expansion into the downtown Rockport location.
Like all third coast enthusiasts, the Goin’ Coastal Outfitters’ owners are enthralled with Rockport’s charming beaches, bountiful sunsets, and classic, yet trendy, statement pieces. With new designs created by Abigail, inventory is continually fresh, which provides opportunities for loyal, repeat customers who are captivated with high-quality and affordable apparel. Goin’ Coastal Outfitters merchandise ranges from exclusive T-shirts to jewelry, and from seasonal car fresheners to footwear.
One will find the Goin’ Coastal Outfitters team slingin’ ice cream at 103 S. Austin Street and throughout South Texas at festivals and fishing tournaments.
