The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce recognized Mermaid’s Kitchen as its October Business of the Month Thursday, Oct. 1.

Currently owned and operated by Samantha McCrary, Mermaid’s Kitchen has been serving up meals to the community for six years. It took some time for McCrary to locate a permanent home for Mermaid’s Kitchen after losing her past location to Hurricane Harvey, but just like the citizens of Rockport-Fulton’s resiliency, Mermaid’s Kitchen was determined to stay. This little gem of a restaurant holds a special treasure, a mermaid called Samantha, who not only is known for her cooking skills in the restaurant, but does on and off site catering, is a personal chef, makes custom cakes, offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and offers a full Take-n-Bake menu. It is a one-stop shop for all ones needs from not having to cook, to throwing a party.

“Whatever your event, your place or ours, we will make it fabulous,” said McCrary.

Mermaid’s Kitchen scored high on the matrix in the areas of community involvement, appearance, and years of service. Stop by Mermaid’s Kitchen at 1910 HWY 35 North and congratulate them for this achievement. Visit online or call for their current hours. Pickup and delivery are available.

For more information on Mermaid’s Kitchen one can find them on Facebook or call 432-634-8370.
